When you first meet Michael Kozoroz, he usually starts a conversation by telling you that you either have to sneeze in order to say his last name (KOH-so-ros), or to just call him “Koz” for short.

Koz’s professional achievements include significant contributions to the U.S. Navy, where he played an integral role in the development of educational materials for pilots, as well as a noteworthy engagement with Walmart and Sam’s Club, for whom he crafted nationwide graphics campaigns.

An enthusiastic educator, Michael joined the faculty of Blue Ridge Community College in 2020 as a Graphic Design instructor and continues to teach online part-time. He currently works at St. Mary Parish in Appleton, WI, where he combines creativity, technology, and storytelling in support of parish life and community engagement.

When he’s not at work, Koz can usually be found building homemade arcades, walking his big-boned dog Maddy, or happily saying yes to just about any adventure involving his family.
