Adam Ayers began learning cello at the age of 3, studying with his parents, both of whom are musicians. He attended the String Academy of Wisconsin in Milwaukee while in high school, and continued studies at University of Wisconsin-Madison with Uri Vardi for his Bachelor of Music, then continued even further with Peter Stumpf at Indiana University for his Masters degree. He is currently a member of the Madison Symphony Orchestra, and occasionally plays as a substitute with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. He also teaches cello to students in the Waukesha and Menomonee Falls areas.
